These terms of use apply to the Snaplay app (package name com.nordpix.snaplay, hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by [LEGAL ENTITY — TBD] (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a free, ad-supported service.

Snaplay is a media player. The Application does not host, store, or provide any video content. All media played through the Application is supplied by the user or by third-party sources selected by the user. The user is solely responsible for ensuring that any content they play is lawful in their jurisdiction and that they hold the necessary rights to access it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

2. Description of Service

Snaplay is a video player for Android devices. The Application supports playback of common video file formats, hardware-accelerated decoding, subtitle rendering, and casting to compatible external displays. The Application does not include any pre-loaded video library and does not act as a content distribution platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Application. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Application and agree to these terms on your behalf.

4. User Conduct & Content Responsibility

You agree that you will not use the Application to:

The Service Provider does not pre-screen, monitor, or control the video files or network streams that you choose to play through the Application. You bear sole and exclusive responsibility for the content you access.

5. Third-Party Content & Links

The Application may allow you to play video files from third-party sources (including local files, cloud storage providers, and network streams). The Service Provider makes no representation or warranty regarding the legality, accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of any third-party content. Reference to or playback of any third-party content does not constitute endorsement by the Service Provider.

6. Advertising

The Application is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising displayed through third-party advertising networks (mediated via TopOn, and which may include Google AdMob and others). By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that such advertising may be shown. Advertising is delivered in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which describes the limited data used to serve ads and the controls available to you, including how to limit ad personalization. The Service Provider is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or any websites or offers they link to.

7. Application Maintenance & Updates

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Application at any time. Operating system requirements may change, and you will need to download updates if you want to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the Application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the operating system version installed on your device. The Service Provider may also cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without notice. Upon any termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.

8. Device Security & Personal Responsibility

It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, which involves removing software restrictions imposed by the official operating system. Such actions could expose your device to malware, compromise its security, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

9. Internet Connection & Data Charges

Some functions of the Application — including the display of advertising — require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of Wi-Fi access or if you have exhausted your data allowance. If you use the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile provider's agreement terms still apply, and you may incur data charges, including roaming charges. If you are not the bill payer, it is assumed you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Service Provider be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Application; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Application or in any content you play through the Application; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [GOVERNING-LAW JURISDICTION — TBD], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms of Use. You are advised to review this page regularly. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page. Continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

These terms of use are effective as of 2026-06-24.
